Renaissance at Sea World

Spring Break has come and gone but the memories of a fabulous trip remain.  I’ll be honest, we didn’t intend to stay here but are so very thankful we did!  Driving to Florida with no reservation, we booked the Renaissance for its fabulous rate, not knowing what we were going to get…

Upon arrival (at 3am- yikes) the staff was extremely friendly and helped get our exhausted family up to the room quickly.  The rooms were huge with high beautiful ceilings.  Confession- I re-made these beds for a photo 😉  They normally didn’t have wrinkles!

The bathroom was also large with a tub/shower combo.

The next morning we wandered the property and the kids had an absolute blast exploring the lobby with it’s modern fun setting, they insisted on sitting in almost every chair.  It was huge and we were happy to stroll along with coffee in hand thanks to the Starbucks located on the main floor.

Outside the main lobby there were pool tables, ping pong tables, and magnetic darts-all free! We had intended to go to a museum or one of the theme parks but after seeing everything the hotel had to offer we saved that $$ and had the best time relaxing instead!

The hotel had a beautiful large pool (that’s a lunch/bar in the background) as well as a splashpad with mini kid slides, water cannons and larger water slides where even our older two kids were entertained for hours.

All five of us agree that next time we travel to Florida, the Renaissance at Sea World is on our list of places to stay.
