Simple Paloma Recipe

Move over Margarita, the Paloma might be my new favorite cocktail.  This Paloma recipe is light and refreshing made with freshly squeezed fruit juice and sweetened with a hint of agave nectar.  This is our super simple spin on the traditional Paloma.  Make sure to check out some of our other simple and delicious drink recipes here.

How to make a paloma

Makes One Paloma
2 oz of tequila
2 oz of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
Juice from 1/2 lime
1 tsp agave nectar (you can use simple syrup if you don’t have agave nectar)
2 oz of water or club soda (traditionally it’s made with club soda but we made it with just water and it was great that way too)
sea salt for the rim if you like a salted glass

If you want to salt the rim of your glass.  Take a wedge of lime and coat the rim of your glasses with the lime.  Pour salt onto a small plate, flip your glass upside down and coat the lime juice covered rim in the salt.  Set your glass aside

Add juice from half of a lime to your glass.  We use this juicer for lemons and limes.  It works really well, but would definitely not fit a grapefruit haha.

Add 2 oz of tequila.  We love Hornitos, but any brand of silver (clear) tequila will do.
