Create this super Easy Christmas Mantel With Bottlebrush Trees using a few supplies , most of which you can pick up on your next trip to Target. White ceramic or galvanized metal Christmas village houses, bottlebrush trees and some gorgeous Christmas garland. We love the look of bottlebrush trees and Target has a lot of different ones available.
Garland
We used this Hearth & Hand Faux White Pine Garland as the base for our mantel display. I would also love to add a string of battery powered lights to illuminate the display a little more. We hung the matching Hearth And Hand Faux White Pine Wreath above the mantel to tie it all together.
Bottlebrush Trees
Target has a wide assortment of bottlebrush trees available online in assortments and sold individually in the Dollar Spot (Bullseye’s Playground) in the stores. We mixed some flocked bottlebrush trees that we had on hand from Michaels and paired them with our new glittery ones from Target. Buy a variety of colors and sizes so you can mix and match and scatter the different combinations throughout your display.
Village Houses
The ceramic houses used in our display were purchased a few years ago from Target. There are some similar ones available now in varying sizes. If you want to keep them all the same color, but get more of a variety in the shapes and sizes of houses you could purchase the galvanized ones as well and spray paint them white to match the others.
We used a couple white ceramic trees to the display. The ones currently available at Target look almost identical to the ones we used in our display. We added a few glittered miniature reindeer we picked up at Michaels a few years ago.
Try turning similar sized or shaped houses at different angles to make them look more unique.
Overlap the different colors and sizes of trees and houses to create depth in your display. We love all of the different textures and colors used in this super easy Christmas mantel.
Have fun creating your unique display!!! If you want to create smaller village houses, check out our post on DIY Dollar Store Christmas Village Houses.
