How To Make A Christmas Cookie Cocktail
This recipe for our favorite Christmas drink came together the other evening when we ran out of whiskey for our Honey Bourbon Hot Toddies. We found a few different variations online of different recipes using similar ingredients and settled on this. You will want to keep these ingredients on hand because they are absolutely delicious.
What You’ll Need To Make A Christmas Cookie Cocktail
- Goldschlager
- Baileys
- Butterscotch schnapps
- Half and half
- Agave syrup and Christmas sprinkles for glass rims
- Ground Cinnamon
- Ice
- Cocktail shaker (not necessary but recommended)
Put on your Christmas apron and let’s get mixing. 😉
Line The Glass
Pour a couple tablespoons of agave syrup on a small plate. And some sprinkles on another plate. Coat the rims of your glasses in the agave syrup then place the cups into the sprinkles until it’s coated.
Add Your Christmas Drink Ingredients
Fill your cocktail shaker about 1/3 way full of ice. Add 1 oz of each of the following: Goldschlager, Baileys, Butterscotch schnapps and Half and half.
Shake your Christmas drink cocktail for about 10 seconds so it’s well mixed and plenty chilled.
Fill your candy coated glass about halfway with ice and pour the drink over the ice.
Add a dash of cinnamon to the top and serve. Enjoy!
