Fun & Simple Christmas Gift Idea For Neighbors
I love when we receive freshly baked goodies from our friends and neighbors around the holidays, any days really. This simple Christmas gift idea for your neighbors is simple and quite tasty! I made spiced pecans that are scrumptious and attached these adorable gift tags that say “Merry Christmas from your Nutty Neighbors.”
To make the spiced pecans I used this Alton Brown recipe from Food Network. A word of warning ya’ll, these spiced pecans are addicting. You could also do a candied or spiced almond ohh so many options.
I found the pecans in bulk at Costco in 2lb bags which really helped keep the cost down.
Fill the 8oz glass canning jars from Walmart.
Print out your gift tags on 65lb cardstock. Cut them out and punch a whole in the corner with a hole puncher. If you don’t have a hole puncher you can cut two slits in a small “x” shape to feed your ribbon through.

Wrap ribbon around the rim of the jar and slide on your gift tag. I found the little gift bags and jingle bell decorations at the dollar store.
