Our Favorite Black Farmhouse Dining Chairs
Black Modern Farmhouse Chairs
We’ve been slowly switching out the furniture at the cabin. We’ve wanted to replace the dining chairs for a while now, but finding the perfect ones to fit our space has been a long process. I pinned and got side tracked, but we did it ya’ll. Well mostly. We have 4 or the 6 chairs so far. So one of us gets to sit in the old dining chair that might spontaneously collapse under you at any point. It’s kind of like a twisted version of musical chairs hahahaha. If ya’ll are in search of some new black farmhouse chairs for your space check out which ones we narrowed it down to and which ones we settled on. We really loved the West Elm Windsor dining chair, but wanted a similar look for a more budget friendly price.
Wren Spindle Dining Chair – These are the ones we settled on. They are solid wood, super comfortable and I love how they are a modern twist on the traditional farmhouse chair. They are sold in a set of two and come fully assembled whoooot!
West Elm’s Windsor Chairs – These were our second choice. Surprisingly affordable and beautiful color and lines.
Teo Solid Wood Dining Chairs – If you’re looking for something with a taller back these would be a great option. Solid wood and sold in pairs. The straight back at the top is another good modern farmhouse look.
Windsor Curved Back Arm Chairs – Check out their curves!! Love the lines on these chairs, but keep in mind if these are heading to your cart that you might not be able to push them all the way under the table because of the curved back.
Wishbone Woven Chairs – I love the texture on the seat of these chairs. The classic, more formal wishbone back paired with the more casual woven seat is a fun combination and really works well with a variety of styles.
We also found a version of the woven wishbone chairs with a woven black seat. If you want a more monochromatic look these would be a great option.
Potterybarn Shay Dining Chair – Potterybarn’s take on the traditional farmhouse dining chair.
Crate & Barrel’s Paton Black Oak Windsor Dining Chair – This was one of my favorite options, but they didn’t fit in our budget.
